Common questions

Short, straight answers.

Which devices does the app run on?

On iPhone through the App Store, and on Android phones through Google Play.

Do I need to create an account?

No. The app doesn’t ask you to sign up or give an email address. There are no ads either.

Does the app work without the internet?

Yes. Questions, pictures and your progress are stored on the device, so you can study on your break in the cab.

How much does the app cost?

The download and some of the questions are free. A one-off purchase of £4.99 unlocks everything, including the editions for Germany, Poland, Italy, France and Spain. There’s no subscription.

How do the ADR exams work in the UK?

You sit one exam for each module you trained for, usually on the last day of the course. The exams are multiple choice and done online, always in person at the training centre, and you get your result straight away. Fail a module and you can retake that test within 16 weeks without doing the training again.

Are these the official exam questions?

No. We wrote the questions ourselves, based on ADR 2025, the DVSA syllabus for ADR driver training and the Carriage of Dangerous Goods Regulations 2009. We have no access to any official question bank.
